Get to know Moyo Island and its Destination

Moyo island is one of the islands included in the Sumbawa region, West Nusa Tenggara. This small island is surrounded by beautiful coral reefs. Beach with blue water, white sand and calm atmosphere is the main attraction that is very tempting. do not be surprised if the late Princess Diana had a vacation here.

1. Air Terjun Mata Jitu (Mata Jitu Waterfall) In this waterfall the late Princess Diana had a chance to soak while enjoying the coolness and beauty of the forest of Moyo Island. Local residents also call it the Queen of Waterfall. Mata Jitu Waterfall has seven terraced pools that spoil your eyes.

The water which is light green and old becomes the main attraction of anyone who visits it. Here, you are free to swim and soak in a special pool intended for the activities of tourists. at the lip of the waterfall, you can even see stalactites and stalagmites that were formed millions of years ago. Guaranteed you will linger here .

Pantai Tanjung Pasir ini memiliki hamparan pasir putih yang paling luas di antara pantai yang lain. Air lautnya yang biru dan jernih seolah memanggil-manggil minta didekati. Kamu bisa sekedar bermain air di pinggiran pantainya atau mencoba berenang di kedalaman untuk bercengkrama dengan hewan laut dan terumbu karang yang ada di sana.


3. Snorkling Spot At Raja Sua Beach

From Tanjung Pasir Beach you can stop by Raja Sua Beach. The distance is only 20 minutes by motorboat. This beach does not have too much white sand. The beach area is dominated by forests with grassland and tall trees. However, make no mistake. the clarity of the water like a mirror that radiates the beauty of the marine life below.

Raja Sua beach is one of the favorite spots for snorkeling and diving. In the depths, you can even find White Coral which is used for jewelry and has health benefits


4. Pulau Kecil  pasir putih Takat Sagele (Takat Sagele White sand Isled)

Moyo Island travel is most appropriate if done in the dry season, throughout the months of May to August. Apart from the quieter waves, you can also relax on a unique mound of coral and white sand named Takat Sagele.

the clarity of the sea water that surrounds the Takat Sagele makes it easy for you to find beautiful fish swimming underwater. In addition, you can enjoy the sunset and calm in the vast ocean. it will certainly be an unforgettable experience that you will not be able to get anywhere else.


5. Air Terjun Diwu Mba'i (Diwu Mba'i Oasis Waterfall)

Besides Mata Jitu Waterfall, there are also other waterfalls that are no less beautiful on Moyo Island. It's called Diwu Mba'i Waterfall. The freshness of this waterfall is like an oasis in the hot weather of Moyo Island. although the steps are not as much as Mata Jitu Waterfall, but it's not complete to visit Moyo Island without stopping here.

Around the waterfall, you will be treated to a jungle with tall, towering ten-year-old trees. There is a swing of the rope tied to one of the big trees near the waterfall. You can spur adrenaline by swinging and plunging into the waterfall pool below.


6. Pantai Poto Jarum (Poto Jarum Beach)

Poto Jarum beach has a characteristic compared to other beaches on Moyo Island. Especially if it's not because of the large rocks that you can easily find on the lip area of ​​the beach. This beach is one of the protected areas so you won't find buildings around it

The calm waves with turquoise water make anyone feel at home for long. The beauty of the underwater world is also the main goal of anyone who comes here. This beach can be reached for approximately 60 minutes by local fishing motor boat from Tanjung Pasir Beach.


7. Pantai Brang Sedo (Brang Sedo NaturaL Beach)

Another beach on Moyo Island that you can visit is Brang Sedo Beach. On this beach you can enjoy the amazing natural beauty of the underwater while relaxing in the beautiful beach area. For you backpackers can also set up a tent here for overnight. enjoying the night sky of Moyo Island will surely be a memorable experience for the rest of your life. 


8. Pantai Ai Manis (Ai Manis Tropical Baech) 

Almost like Raja Sua Beach, on Ai Manis Beach you will be presented with a tropical forest landscape in an area close to the beach. The rocks around the beach area can also be a fun spot to take pictures. If you dare, you can try to explore the forest area in it. if you are lucky you can meet charming wild deer and various rare birds that perch on the branches of trees .


9. Air Terjun Sengalo (Sengalo Waterfall) 

Although not yet much exposed on social media, but this one place you must visit when visiting Moyo Island. The journey to Sengalo Waterfall is indeed not easy. You have to comb the beach to Sebotok Village then proceed by motorcycle and walk for about 30 minutes. This waterfall has a large swimming and bathing pool. Every now and then the sound of birds chirping that adds to the naturalness of this place. it feels like you don't want to go home if you get here.
